Our membership continues to grow and on Sunday we welcomed three new members to their first race at Northern – Glenn Sullivan, Paul Moore and Ian Douglas – with Paul taking the win in A grade and Glenn winning D grade.
Numbers were down slightly at National Boulevard for the first race of the winter season even though the conditions were almost perfect.
Highlights included club sponsor Nick Nomikos from Top Tech Panels performing credibly in his first race in A grade, finishing eighth. Liam Oliver won B grade, Michael Lavendar won C grade and Vice President Jo Read beat former Vice President Allison Watt on the line by a mere fraction of a second to win E grade.
