Following the completion of the special women’s only races the regular racing got underway slightly later than normal at around 9:30am in perfect sunny conditions with a slight Northerly breeze.
This week we had grades A to F competing where prize money was forfeited and all entry proceeds will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Foundation in honour of Tracey Romans from Northern who passed away from this condition a number of years ago.
Following the races the place getters were presented with their medals by sponsor Geoff Romans who shared some thoughts about his late wife Tracey and the significance of the day to him.
