Tracey Romans Memorial – Graded Scratch Races
Each year on Mother’s Day we race graded scratch at National Boulevard in memory of former member Tracey Romans who passed away in December 2015 after a long and courageous battle against ovarian cancer.
Married to member Jeff Romans, Tracey was an active and valued member of Northern and had many friends at the club.
This Sunday 8th May, half the proceeds from race entries, raffles etc will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Foundation. For those who enter will be in a raffle draw of four prizes valued at a total of $169.95.

Once again, Jeff will provide medals for placegetters in all grades, as well as the ‘One Tough Lady’ Trophy for the best female race of the day.
Ovarian Cancer Australia is the leading organisation taking action for Australians affected by ovarian cancer. It is committed to saving lives and supporting women through providing specialised supports for women living with ovarian cancer, facilitating high-impact research to improve outcomes for women, and raising awareness on a national scale to ensure every Australian knows ovarian cancer.

Eureka Cycling – Ray Hodgson Classic – Sat. 7th May
Hello fellow Cycling Clubs and riders, Eureka Cycling is pleased to announce a brand new MASTERS Open handicap, to be staged at Myrniong on Saturday 7th May at 10 AM.
The race carries over $1000 in prize money and trophies!
Myrniong is located just a few minutes past Bacchus Marsh on the Western Highway. Please kindly share this feature race with your fellow Masters riders.
