Perfect racing weather greeted around 75 riders for the rescheduled Northern versus Eastern race 2 that was cancelled due to wet weather a few weeks earlier.
Northern rider numbers heavily outnumbered Eastern on this occasion and came away with the points 77 to 13 to take the overall lead in the series with one race remaining on 119 to 82 (subject to scrutiny).
The final race is yet to be scheduled.
