A few steel bikes and their riders winning at graded scratch races today at National Boulevard in our annual Father’s Day event raising money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
A highlight was a Penny Farthing demonstration and some great actions pics taken by professional photographer Colin Rosewarne.
This Sunday 11 September is the VVCC State Championship Time Trial – hosted by Northern – which has been moved from Avenel to the Balliang circuit. Start is 10am, registrations at the Balliang Community Hall. Age group based and raced in five-year age groups with three laps of the relatively flat 10km course. Entries close Tuesday 6 September on the VVCC website.
