In the final race of the series Northern riders came out on top 46 points to 43 on a sunny but windy morning at National Boulevard.
Northern came away with breakaway wins in both C grade (John McKinnon) & D grade (John Mitsinikos) whilst the president Vince Sinni timed a perfect sprint to grab E grade on the line.
Points were also collected for good representations of the placings in most grades A through F.
Overall however Eastern took out this years race series comfortably ~200 points to 120 (subject to scrutinising)
Eastern CC also won both the mens and women’s aggregate points awards with Shane Templar and Danielle van Tol. Shoutout to Northerns Michael Hartman who placed in 3 races and finished within 2 points of Shane.
