After last Sundays cancelled handicap at Seymour it was back to National Boulevard for the regular crit action on the Grand Final long weekend in clear but windy conditions with a strong cool Southerly breeze making for a fast run to the finish line.
Also a belated shout out to the three Northern riders who UCI qualified at the recently run Amy GranFondo – Luke Poyser, Morgan Belbruno and Andrew Gannon (https://www.multisportaustralia.com.au/…/3/reports/uci A fantastic achievement for those guys!
Features for todays racing was 4 ladies across the grades with 2 new faces in A grade Hayley Eynaud and and Tara Neyland, Kaz McMurray in C grade who took out 2nd and Grace fryer with a 3rd place in D grade.
In B grade there was a late break started by Garry Clively, Joined by Tom McDonough followed by Eastern rider Craig Stannard that put around half a lap into the rest of the B grade field and took it all the way to the finish line.
