Northern Cycling Criterium at National Boulevard on Sun 15th Dec

The final race of the year drew a solid field of more than 60 riders competing across grades A – E in almost perfect conditions. Importantly it was also an incident free event after a bingle in A grade last Sunday.

This week there were a couple of new faces occupying the top spots in their first road races, namely Nathan Mawson in B grade and new Northern member Mitch Skelly in C grade both taking out their respective races with strong sprints.

Many thanks to todays marshals (Kon P and Kelvin S), volunteers & helpers and particularly Thomas Zheng for stepping in to take on the important first aid role for todays race at short notice. **If any member has an interest in learning first aid with the clubs support or is already qualified and is interested in helping out on occasion please reach out.

The committee would like to thank all members for supporting Northern Cycling this year and wishes all members a safe & relaxing Christmas break.

The first race of 2025 will be on the 19th of Jan with it opening on EntryBoss about a week prior.

Congrats to todays winners and place getters.
