It was a perfect day at National Boulevard that greeted the more than 60 riders that turned out for the clubs criterium championship with a light mostly Sth Easterly breeze and warm conditions.
A clear sprint win for Scott Gregory in A grade contrasted with a super tight finish in B grade in the largest field today with 24 riders where the first 8 places were less than 0.5 second apart and the winning margin to Nick Nomikos was 1/1000 of a second over Craig Robertson and Melvin Elias in a return to sprint form 10/1000 s behind Nick. No intel on the other grades so drop a race report in the comments or shoot a msg through to Northern messenger.
A call out to the the ladies in B grade that battled it out in a strong field where Stephanie Young edged out Kaz McMurray followed by Raelene Lesniowska.
