Northern Criterium at National Boulevard on Sunday 27th July

It was a much smaller group of riders than usual that took their chances with the weather to race this Sunday despite the dire forecast scaring away a good number of riders.

The skies stayed clear however but the roads were wet which meant that the timing sensor could not be safely stuck down so racing was done without electronic timing on this occasion. Average speeds were also appreciably lower with the smaller bunches and wet corners. C grade attracted the largest field of the days with about 13 riders but most of the other grades struggled to get into double figures.

Places were awarded visually and big thanks to those spotting and filming the race finishes on the downhill front straight finish today.

As mentioned there were no MyLaps timing this week so no full placings available for the rest of the field.
