Northern Criterium at National Boulevard on 21st Sept 25

posted in: Latest News

It was grey, cool windy day with a regular front straight finish that todays riders were faced with in grades A through E.

C grade attracted the largest field of the day with 15 riders followed by A grade (12) and B grade (9). There were a number of events going on including some National races that drained the numbers slightly today and the forecast wasn’t too rosy so thanks to all those who rolled up to support the club today. One notable callout from today is new member Avi Kassman who backed up his first race win in C grade last week with another win in B grade today just ahead of consistent podium placer Mark Micallef. Welcome to Northern Avi and based on current form it looks like A grade isn’t far off either.

Feel free to drop any race reports in the comments or send them through on messenger and will add them in.

Thanks to all the volunteers and officials for todays races. There’s a small core group of people who take care of the club duties every week that without whom these races could not go ahead so please make a point of acknowledging and thanking them when the opportunity arises. Thanks also to Nigel Regi for capturing todays action from various course locations and sharing his photos with us.

Congratulations to all todays winners and place getters below.
