This morning racing was at National Blvd that had 73 competitors in grades “A” to “E” dealing with a tough head wind on the back straight.
Some of the highlights were a 2 rider breakaway in “A” grade, great turn out of 27 riders in B grade, new visiting rider Nathan Tidey taking out the win in C grade, Geoff Forbes finding form and taking out the win in D grade and seeing some consistent results in “E” grade.
But overall it was great seeing riders just starting to prime up for our 2022 Benghazi – Top Tech Panels Masters Handicap 77km to be held in 27 days at Lancefield.
Congratulations to the following winners:
“A” – Stuart Morgan 39.28 km/h average speed, 29 laps
“B” – Mark Ferguson 38.32 km/h, 26 laps
“C” – Nathan Tidey 35.30 km/h, 20 laps
“D” – Geoff Forbes 32.61 km/h, 16 laps
“E”. – Shane Dwyer 28.74 km/h, 12 laps
Well done to all riders who competed and thank you to all our volunteers for making our racing possible.
