Emilio Romano was among a dedicated few who battled the cold and wind at National Boulevard on Sunday and came away with a win in A Grade.
The rain and hail held off just long enough for racing to go ahead even though numbers were way down. Well done to everyone and thanks to our officials and volunteers.
Well done, too, to the Northern riders who dominated at the open crits at Casey Fields on Saturday – Michael Borowski 1st in A grade; the Scotts (Blade and Riddell) 1st and 2nd in B; the Johns (Short and Hasouras) 1st and 2nd in C; Tony Gherxi and Stacey Hatton 1st and 2nd in E and Jo Read and Meredith Kelly 1st and 2nd in F.
