The weather gods decided to give us a break this week and allow racing to go ahead under blues skies after 2 consecutive weeks of cancelled racing.
A field of over 55 riders through grades A though E battled it out in challenging conditions with the strong Northerly making for a fast downhill finish.
In grades A grade (Jesse Cropley / Iain Clarke ) and B grade (Agostino Giramondo / Mark Edele) 2 man breakaways took the top spots on their respective podiums leaving the remaining fields to battle it out for 3rd place in the sprints.
In A grade Russell Lee from Cycle House took out the sprint for 3rd and in B grade the ever improving Luke Poyser put in a big sprint to get over the top of fellow sprinter John Hiatt.
In C grade with the largest bunch and a number of ladies, the sprint was taken out by Melvin Elias closely followed by the returning Phoebe Symes and podium regular Mark Micallef.
D Grades Kaz McMurray sprinted to a comfortable win and Henryk Herbec got up again in E grade.
