A large field of more than 60 riders battled it out at National Boulevard across grades A through E in the 1st of the 3 Cycle House series crit races.
Luckily the early morning strong winds subsided before the start of the race and then swung around to a light Southerly which made for a quicker back straight finish. Overall conditions were nearly perfect for racing with a mild temperature and blue skies.
Thanks to all the regular volunteers for todays race and especially to Phil Tehan who arrived early at the course and cleared all the debris from the circuit caused by the strong overnight winds.
Congrats to all those who made it onto the podium today.
3rd place – Daryl Suter
