First a confession: I used to be a member of Eastern Cycling ☹. But in due course I saw the light and changed to Northern Cycling 😊. In a moment of weakness (or virtue) I have volunteered to ride in an Eastern Cycling team to raise money in The Below The Belt Pedlathon at Sandown on Sunday 26th of March. The Pedalthon raises funds for below the belt cancers. A number of us in both clubs have had prostate cancer and some (well one that I know of for sure) have also had testicle cancer. Prostate cancer is particularly common in older blokes and in fact kills more people than breast cancer.
