Northern member Anna Davis will attempt to beat her own one-hour world record this Friday 9 March at 9am at DISC in Fairfield.
Anna and James Ogilvie (35-39 years) will attempt to set new world records in their respective age groups.
Anna generously stepped in at the last minute as our guest speaker at last year’s presentation night and has since joined our club.
Friends of Anna and James are welcome to come along and offer their support and encouragement.
Those wishing to assist in ‘warming up’ the track before the start will need to be there by 8am. Racing during the warm up period will NOT BE ALLOWED. Only riders with roadworthy road bikes will be allowed on the track during the warm up period.
This event is NOT a Northern Cycling or AVCC event and as such those riding in the warm up do so entirely at their own risk and should undertake their own enquiries as to insurance coverage and any other matters that may be of concern.
