Tommy Gray won the Tre Espresso General Memorial Handicap at Avenel on Sunday – his first handicap win in 30 years!
Second place Tony Bramucci, third place David Drew and fastest time Michael Borowski.
Racing off 20 mins, Tommy was among a group of five riders who caught limit girls Stacey Hatton and Allison Watt at just over 1km from the finish.
A minute’s silence was observed before presentations at the Avenel Pub. Well done to everyone who raced on this new out and back course. Although relatively flat, the wind made it a tough race. Thanks to our volunteers for making the race possible.
