A busy few weeks coming up, on and off the bike …
More than 70 tickets have already been sold for the annual Presentation Night at the Abruzzo Club on Friday 15 November from 6.30pm. Tickets are $55 per person for a three course dinner with drinks at bar prices and $20 for children – all welcome. Our guest speaker is 1985 National Road Champion Laurie Venn. Entries close at 8pm on Friday 8 November for the Central Vets/Northern inter club road handicap this Sunday 10 November at 10am at the Emu Creek circuit, just out of Bendigo – the same circuit used for the Women’s Conni Classic in September, which saw success from both clubs finishing on the podium Andrea Wilson 1st (C), Allison Watt 2nd (N) and Jo Read 3rd (N).

The VCV State Road Race Championships will be held on Sunday 17 November hosted by Eureka Vets at Learmonth.
This will be held as graded races with men and women racing separately.
All women’s events will start at 10.55am and all women will race the same 45km circuit. The number of divisions depends on entries.
Men’s events will start in three waves with divisions A to F.

Men Division A – 77km
Men Division B – 77km
Men Division C – 55km
Men Division D – 55km
Men Division E – 45km
Men Division F – 45km
Wave 1. 10am Men Division C. 10.05am Men Division D
Wave 2. 11am Men Division E. 11.05am Men Division F
Wave 3. 11.45am Men Division A. 11.50am Men Division B
