Northern has brought the Tour de Metro trophy home winning the final race at Yarra Glen and the four-event series against Eastern.
We were outnumbered on Saturday with 60 riders from Eastern compared to our 31, but that fighting Northern Cycling spirit saw our competitors finish in the top 5 across all grades except for F.
Northern won the day earning 53 points to Eastern 46, overall 219 to 180 point making us the 2018 Tour de Metro Champions.
A great effort to everyone from both clubs who took part over the four races and displayed great competitive racing and sportsmanship.
Individual winners were our own Terry Hollibone and Kellie Murphy who also both won the Gold Class movie passes in the raffle. Well done all!
