The 10 minute bunch got up at Lancefield on Sunday with club sponsor Nick Nomikos breaking away to win the Merle Jamieson Memorial 60km handicap. Michael Lavendar (2nd) and John McKinnon (3rd) also in the 10 minute bunch also made it onto the podium. Scott Riddell got fastest time.
It’s Nick’s third handicap win since joining the club in 2016.
There was a strong field of 39 riders taking part including some of our friends from Central Victorian Veterans. Well done all. A big thank you also to all our volunteers who made the race possible and well done to assistant handicapper Noel Said who stood in while Bruce is taking a break. We are also grateful for the ongoing support of the sponsor for this event Larkscapes Graphic and Website Design.
