Becoming a member of Northern Cycling

Cyclists become eligible for Masters club membership on the 1st January in the year in which the age of 30 is reached for men and women.

To race with Northern Cycling, or any other affiliated AusCycling Club, you must acquire an AusCycling licence/membership. AusCycling memberships are a rolling 12 month membership and can be purchased at any time during the year. Payment methods that you can choose are Annual or a 12 Monthly payment plan. This membership/license will renew automatically until you cancel. You may cancel your membership at any time.

Membership options available for Northern Cycling are “Race All Discipline”:

  • Concession aged 65+ $120*,
  • Adult $250*,
  • Family Memberships (see AusCycling website under family membership), and
  • Non-Riding (officials) $10.00*

* club fees not included.

Northern Cycling club membership options available are Primary (first club of choice) or Club Add On memberships (second club or multiple clubs of choice).

Northern Cycling club membership fees are currently $15.00.

Please Note: Northern asks its members to register for at least two marshalling duties each year.

Trial rides

Want to try a race or two before committing to membership?

Our governing body AusCycling, offers a 4 week free trial membership (Please note: Race entry fees still apply). To take advantage of this offer, register on the AusCycling Website. Riders are able to Experience the fun of riding and racing across all disciplines in club level events, after which, if they wish to continue racing, they must take out full AusCycling and club membership to obtain an AusCycling licence. Trial riders are not eligible for prize money, should they win or place in their trial ride(s).
