Plenty of action at National Boulevard on Sunday morning for the last race of the year – highlights included Luke Medhurst beating Scott Riddell by a 200th of a second to win A grade; Cycle House’s Steffan Goring took out B; David Rooke won in C; Geoff Forbes backed up his win in last week’s Merle Jamison Handicap with a win in D grade; new member Lindsay Smyrk won in E grade and women’s club champ Meredith Kelly won F grade. Intermediate sprints were an added incentive.
