Dan Ives from Eastern won Monday’s tough Ladcom Benghazi 77km Open Handicap at Lancefield with his teammates from the 37 min bunch – Terry Collie from Eureka and John Tielnen from Goulburn Valley – making up the podium placings. Fastest time went to Jarrod Moroni from Central Vets.
Northern riders did well with Michael placing 10th, Darren 6th and Tamara first UP lady. In the club aggregate comp Northern came second behind Goulburn Valley.
